Job summary

Mollie is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Build team within the Developer Enablement domain. You will own CI/CD infrastructure, ensure stability and scale, and drive secure, efficient delivery pipelines for our engineering teams.

You’ll work with GitLab, ArgoCD, Terraform and Kubernetes to empower developers to ship software quickly while reducing operational friction and improving reliability across Mollie’s platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of self-hosted operations
• Experience with cloud-native deployments and GitOps (GitLab, ArgoCD)
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm and container tooling
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform and cost-aware resource management
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee health, stability and scalability of Mollie’s CI/CD infrastructure
• Respond to outages and maintain high availability
• Develop and implement CI/CD governance, security and resilience best practices
• Optimize resource usage and developer experience across platforms
• Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve tooling issues
