Job summary

LessonUp is hiring a Senior Platform Automation Engineer to own the cloud platform, focusing on infrastructure, DevOps, and platform engineering. You will manage GCP production infrastructure, tackle debt, optimize resources, and ensure reliability while creating fast feedback loops for developers.

You will build and maintain cloud infra, CI/CD pipelines, and per-PR ephemeral environments to enable reliable production deployments at high velocity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Platform/DevOps/SRE
• Strong proficiency with GCP and IaC (Terraform)
• Fluency with E2E testing tools like Playwright/Jest in CI
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and MongoDB
• Senior ownership and autonomous work style
• Resident in NL; relocation not possible

Responsibilities

• Own Production Infrastructure & GCP roadmap and optimise resources
• Provide per-PR ephemeral environments for testing
• Run and reliable E2E tests in CI pipelines and reduce flakiness
• Optimise CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
• Enable engineering with APIs and data tools for test suites
