Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment in Utrecht is seeking a Technical Lead - Platform to design and build a cloud-native Kubernetes platform for mission-critical workloads, with on-site work and 3 days of work-from-home. You will lead Platform/Network/Cloud/SRE engineers and shape a highly available system powering international connectivity.

Responsibilities include PoC work, self‑service functionality, cloud architecture, and migrating workloads to the new platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working experience as Software, DevOps, Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years working with cloud, IaC and cloud engineering.
• 1+ years working with Kubernetes.
• Technical Leadership: 1+ year.

Technical Lead - Platform Utrecht | €105k + 10% Bonus | Build Core Compute Platform for 99,99% mission critical workloads | Leading Supply chain company | 3 days WFH

Do you want to design and build self-service functionality on a Cloud-native hybrid cloud platform? Do you get energy from taking the technical leadership for the core Kubernetes platform that are responsible for international connectivity and and compute? n your tribe you will work alongside Platform/Network/Cloud/Security & Site reliability engineers (15 in total), 1 PO and a engineering manager. The platform supports 35 internal DevOps and DataOps teams.

Impact is one of the words to be highlighted here. As a Lead Kubernetes platform engineer you get the chance to set-up new Kubernetes nodes, both on premise, on the edge (Talos) and in Azure (AKS). You’ll design the platform to be redundant and mission critical (99.99% availability). Minutes of downtime, disrupt the global supply chain, and that means unhappy stakeholders.

A base compensation op to €105k + 10% bonus + 25+% pension scheme, 3 days WFH per week.
