Job summary

Mimica is seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to join a lean Platform Team. You will support the entire engineering organization by ensuring healthy environments, unblocking teams, and building infrastructure that accelerates delivery.

The role spans multi-region, single-tenancy, and BYOC initiatives, requiring hands-on Kubernetes, IaC, cloud expertise, and strong collaboration across teammates. You will work on Terraform to Crossplane migrations, implement robust observability with Honeycomb

Qualifications

Hands-on Kubernetes familiarity across GKE/EKS/OnPrem, with RBAC and live debugging.
Terraform as primary IaC tool; Terragrunt a plus.
IAM and identity management on major cloud providers (GCP/AWS).
Experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps for CD.
Observability platforms: Honeycomb, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
Proficient Python scripting for automation.
Experience in startups or scale-ups; comfortable with ambiguity and multi-hat roles.
Strong communication to translate infra complexity for engineers.

Responsibilities

Support engineering teams in building mature, resilient apps on GKE, and unblock issues quickly.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and ArgoCD; Python-based platform tooling.
Manage multi-region GKE environments and IAM across cloud providers.
Investigate incidents, monitor health, and implement LDLC improvements.
Participate in on-call rotation and drive incident response.
Lead migration of IaC from Terraform to Crossplane; aid multi-region scaling.
Drive FinOps visibility and control cloud spend across accounts.
