Job summary

DeepHealth, formerly CIMAR UK Ltd, is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support and evolve an AWS-based infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms. You will work closely with the Platform Engineering team to automate, secure, and scale cloud operations while enabling rapid software delivery across teams.

The role emphasizes infrastructure automation, cloud security, and reliability in a remote working environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in a DevOps/platform engineering/cloud infra role.
• Hands-on with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Production Kubernetes experience.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins.
• Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs).
• Security-conscious approach to infra design and ops.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure with IaC and version control.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes platforms, including scaling and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines across development teams.
• Monitor health, respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis.
• Automate operational processes to reduce toil.
• Apply cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, secrets, scanning).
• Support teams with tooling and onboarding to infra services.
• Manage image pipelines and registry with security scanning.
• Document infrastructure, runbooks, and decisions.
• Contribute to cost monitoring and optimisation.
