Job summary

Sisk Group is hiring a Senior Planner to lead the Data Centre project planning and controls from pre-construction through site phases. You will set standards, develop baselines, monitor progress, and report to management and the Board.

Role emphasizes 4D/2D planning, risk management, and collaboration with design teams, supply chain, and project management to optimise programme outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction planning with live projects.
• Advanced knowledge of ASTA Powerproject and programme reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of UK/EU contract frameworks NEC/JCT.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to manage planning data in a collaborative digital environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior colleagues.
• Knowledge of best practices in planning and programme management.

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline programme development across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Prepare construction target programmes to identify improvements.
• Develop tender event programmes for subcontractor procurement.
• Maintain accurate programme documents in a CDE.
• Produce 4D/2D models and phasing plans.
• Identify risks and mitigation measures with float and TRAs.
• Collaborate with teams on construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Support preliminaries staffing, logistics, and temporary works.
• Engage with supply chain for inputs like design deliverables and durations.
