Job summary

GeoSoftware is seeking a Senior Petrophysicist and Rock Physicist to join the EACIS Team, based in the Netherlands or the United Kingdom. You will independently run consulting projects in petrophysics, seismic petrophysics and rock physics modelling, and deliver advanced training to customers.

You will develop best-practice workflows, contribute to new consulting services and software sales, and collaborate with regional teams to create value across reservoirs and fields.

Qualifications

• European work permission.
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Petrophysics/Rock Physics.
• Minimum 10 years technical experience in well log data QC, conditioning, petrophysical evaluation, rock physics modelling and seismic calibration.
• Published petrophysics and/or rock physics papers at recognized journals or conferences.

Responsibilities

• Execute consulting projects in Petrophysics, Seismic Petrophysics and Rock Physics modelling.
• Conduct PP and RP training courses to clients.
• Prepare service bids and project proposals.
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams within GeoSoftware.
• Develop and implement best practice workflows for Integrated Petrophysics and Rock Physics.
• Create advanced training materials and publications.
• Assist in go-to-market strategies for consulting services and software sales.
• Engage with customers’ technical buyers and explain advanced concepts.
