Job summary

Jobster zoekt een Petrophysical Analyst om zelfstandig specialistische SCAL-analyses te verrichten op rotsmonsters en om te gaan met klantcontacten.

Verantwoordelijkheden omvatten het uitvoeren van porositeits- en permeabiliteitsmetingen, het toepassen van SCAL-technieken en het interpreteren van laboratoriumdata, met rapportage aan klanten. De functie is fulltime, op locatie in Leiden, met een jaarcontract en uitzicht op vaste aanstelling.

Qualifications

• Achtergrond in petrophysica of geowetenschappen is gewenst.
• Ervaring met SCAL-technieken zoals capillaire druk, NMR en wettability.
• Verantwoordelijk voor interpretatie en rapportage van labdata.

Responsibilities

• Voer petrophysische analyses uit zoals porositeit en permeabiliteit.
• Werk met SCAL-technieken en two-phase flow experimenten.
• Interpreteer data en rapporteer aan klanten.
• Kalibreer en controleer labuitrusting.
• Communiceer met klanten over projecten en resultaten.

Job description

As a Petrophysical Analyst, you will independently perform specialist SCAL analyses on rock samples. You will work on your own projects, interpret data and maintain contact with clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing petrophysical analyses, such as porosity and permeability measurements
• Working with specialist SCAL techniques, such as capillary pressure measurements, Archie parameters, NMR and wettability studies
• Conducting two-phase flow experiments
• Assessing, interpreting and reporting laboratory data
• Maintaining, calibrating and checking laboratory equipment
• Communicating with clients about projects and results

Over de werkgever

Our client in the Leiden region specialises in petrophysical and geological laboratory research. Within a technical team, rock samples and fluids from all over the world are analysed using specialist SCAL techniques.

Wat wij bieden

• A direct one-year contract with our client, with the prospect of permanent employment
• Salary indication of €4,000 to €5,000 gross per month, based on full-time employment
• Full-time position of 40 hours per week
• 25 vacation days, with annual accrual up to a maximum of 28 days
• 8% holiday allowance, a potential bonus and a profit-sharing scheme
• The position is full-time day shift and is carried out fully on site
