Checkmark zoekt een ervaren Petrophysical Analyst die zelfstandig specialistische SCAL-analyses op gesteente monsters uitvoert in Leiden. Je krijgt een jaarcontract met mogelijkheid tot een vaste aanstelling.

Verantwoordelijkheden omvatten het uitvoeren van petrofysische analyses, het onderhouden van laboratoriumapparatuur, en klantcommunicatie. Vereist zijn sterke praktische ervaring en minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring, evenals een afgeronde technische opleiding.

De functie is fulltime met een salarisindicatie van €4.000 tot €5.000 bruto per maand, en biedt 25 vakantiedagen en een bonusregeling.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring met Special Core Analysis en/of metingen van rokeigenschappen.
• Ervaring met technieken zoals capillaire drukmetingen en twee-fasestromen.
• Proactieve en flexibele houding, en genieten van teamwork.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Petrophysical Analyst, you will independently perform specialist SCAL analyses on rock samples. You will work on your own projects, interpret data and maintain contact with clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing petrophysical analyses, such as porosity and permeability measurements
• Working with specialist SCAL techniques, such as capillary pressure measurements, Archie parameters, NMR and wettability studies
• Conducting two-phase flow experiments
• Assessing, interpreting and reporting laboratory data
• Maintaining, calibrating and checking laboratory equipment
• Communicating with clients about projects and results

Over de werkgever

Our client in the Leiden region specialises in petrophysical and geological laboratory research. Within a technical team, rock samples and fluids from all over the world are analysed using specialist SCAL techniques.

Wat wij bieden

• A direct one-year contract with our client, with the prospect of permanent employment
• Salary indication of €4,000 to €5,000 gross per month, based on full-time employment
• Full‑time position of 40 hours per week
• 25 vacation days, with annual accrual up to a maximum of 28 days
• 8 % holiday allowance, a potential bonus and a profit‑sharing scheme
• The position is full‑time day shift and is carried out fully on site

Vaardigheden

For the position of Petrophysical Analyst, we are looking for an experienced candidate with strong hands-on experience in petrophysical analyses and Special Core Analysis.

In addition, you have:

• A completed degree in physics, engineering, chemistry or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience with Special Core Analysis and/or rock property measurements
• Experience with techniques such as porosity and permeability measurements, Archie parameters, capillary pressure measurements, two-phase flow, NMR spectroscopy and/or wettability studies
• Good knowledge of SCAL laboratory systems and equipment
• Fluent written and spoken English
• A proactive and flexible attitude, and you enjoy working as part of a technical team

Please note: for this position, it is mandatory that you already have a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
