Job summary

Albert Heijn is transitioning to a hybrid Food & Tech company, building OT security foundations across DCs and stores. You will design the OT Secure Ring, secure asset onboarding and create repeatable blueprints to connect and protect OT/IoT devices.

You’ll work with AutoStore, conveyors, PLCs and WMS, collaborating with Global Security and network engineers. Expected travel applies while English is essential and Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical/engineering direction.
• 5+ years in OT/IoT/Cloud/DevOps or Backend engineering in a large tech environment.
• Strong Azure experience.
• Solid understanding of networks and security.
• Experience with IaC/Config-as-Code and DevOps tools.
• Affinity with OT/ICS environments.
• Familiarity with OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, OCPP, Kafka.
• Backend/APIs, containerised platforms and Kubernetes.
• Willingness to travel to DCs/HSCs and Dutch/English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design the OT Secure Ring with zoning and segmentation per Purdue/IEC 62443.
• Translate designs into security requirements and implement with network engineers.
• Build central iDMZ and OT services in Azure with minimal on-site footprint.
• Develop repeatable blueprints to connect, secure and monitor OT/IoT assets.
• Collaborate with mechanisation partners and integration teams.
• Deliver AI-enabled observability and integration with SIEM/IDS.
• Set up privileged access management and secure access architectures.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with IaC/Config-as-Code.
