Job summary

Albert Heijn Technology zoekt een Senior OT & Edge Engineer die het OT-secure ringontwerp en Azure-gebaseerde OT-diensten bouwt en veilig integreert in onze DCs en HSCs. Je werkt aan schaalbare IoT/OT-architecturen, DevOps-tools en basinfrastructuur, met travel naar diverse locaties binnen NL.

Je hebt 5+ jaar ervaring in OT/IoT/Cloud, + IaC, netwerken en OT-beveiliging, en kennis van OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, Kafka, Kubernetes. Nederlands/Engels, flexibel werken en teamwork staan centraal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in technical/engineering direction
• 5+ years as OT/IoT/Cloud/DevOps or Backend engineer in a complex tech environment
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
• Solid understanding of networks and network security
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Config-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, CDK) and DevOps tooling (GitHub, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Affinity with OT/ICS environments and OT security (IEC 62443, zoning/segmentation, industrial IDS, PAM and SIEM integration)
• Familiarity with OT/IoT protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, OCPP, Kafka)
• Experience with backend/APIs, containerised platforms and Kubernetes
• English and preferably Dutch; willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Design the OT Secure Ring: zoning/segmentation per Purdue model and IEC 62443 and secure conduits between IT, cloud and OT
• Translate design into security requirements and network patterns with network engineers
• Build central iDMZ and OT services in Azure with minimal on-site footprint
• Develop repeatable blueprints to connect/secure/monitor OT/IoT assets
• Collaborate with mechanisation partners (AutoStore, SCADA, PLCs, WMS) to land secure stacks
• Support integration patterns for OT data/events; build them when ready
• Deliver iDMZ/connectivity for Industrial IDS and SIEM onboarding
• Build secure access with PAM, Entra ID and jump servers
• Set up visibility and lifecycle management: inventory, config, patching, vulnerability mgmt
• Automate with IaC/config-as-code; deploy DevOps tooling for CI/CD and observability
• Share knowledge and contribute to AH Technology Platform projects; ongoing learning
