Job summary

Demcon life sciences & health is seeking a Senior Lifecycle System Engineer to own and optimize complex mechatronic systems from release to end-of-life. You will work with development, service, and lifecycle teams to implement improvements and ensure reliability on customer sites.

You will analyze performance data, design enhancements, and coordinate with purchasing for parts, while documenting changes and supporting knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering or troubleshooting experience.
• Analytical and pragmatic problem-solver with hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize multiple mechatronic systems and production tools from release to end-of-life.
• Collaborate with Service Engineers and Lifecycle Engineers to implement improvements.
• Provide 1st line on-site support and discuss improvements with customers.
• Gather feedback, analyze data, and drive changes to systems and working methods.
• Assess new systems for release and assist in transfer from Development to Lifecycle.
• Document new functionalities and improvements for knowledge retention.
• Manage spare parts and advise on end-of-life issues.
