Demcon Delft is seeking an experienced System Architect for Lifesciences. You will own the system design from requirements to verification, guiding multidisciplinary teams in a medical technology context.

You will align regulatory needs with project goals, lead engineers, and ensure quality, planning and budget adherence. The role emphasizes entrepreneurship and team inspiration in healthcare innovations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as system engineer/architect/lead in R&D.
• Knowledge of medical standards and Safety Risk Management incl. ISO 13485.
• Proactive and flexible attitude; anticipates risks and keeps team aligned.

Responsibilities

• Own final responsibility for system design from requirements to verification.
• Lead engineers, monitor quality, planning and budget.
• Inspire and coordinate cross-functional teams within projects.
