Adyen is seeking a Staff Engineer for Observability to drive the long-term evolution of our telemetry and monitoring ecosystem. You will bridge high-scale telemetry infrastructure, developer pipelines, and AI-assisted diagnostics while shaping a strategic roadmap focused on Intelligent Observability and unified data foundations.

You will lead architectural revamps, define secure APIs, and guide regional topologies to ensure global reliability.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in software, systems, or platform engineering.
• Experience leading observability or large-scale data systems.
• Practical knowledge of OpenTelemetry and SLO-driven governance.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Java, or Python with production tooling experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience and scalable telemetry pipelines.

• Define and execute strategy for a unified, global observability platform.
• Architect scalable data foundations for telemetry, logs, and metrics.
• Design APIs and interfaces for AI-assisted diagnostics and automation.
