Job summary

NKT seeks a Senior Project Engineer Nearshore to drive engineering activities from planning to execution on global nearshore installation projects. The role covers landfall, barge lay and burial solutions, with responsibility for technical interfaces, installation methodologies, and documentation.

You will work with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor and/or Master degree in Civil, Mechanical, Offshore Engineering or related field.
5+ years of engineering experience in coastal, nearshore or offshore projects.
Experience preparing technical documentation, method statements and installation procedures.
Exposure to multidisciplinary projects and project execution phases.
English, with Dutch or German as a plus.

Responsibilities

Own engineering work packages for nearshore installation projects through the project life cycle.
Develop and document work methods for shallow-water vessels, barges and landfall operations.
Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings and method statements.
Act as the primary engineering focal point for allocated scopes.
Support risk assessments, HSE planning, quality assurance activities and project execution phases.
