Job summary

CSMART, Center for Simulator Maritime Training, seeks an experienced Instructor for Advanced Maritime Nautical Training in Almere, Netherlands. The role supports the Nautical Department by delivering comprehensive training across classroom, simulator, and practical environments to develop shipboard officers.

As part of the team, you will guide the Officer Career Pathway programs, assess performance, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement while collaborating with diverse teams

Qualifications

• Significant maritime experience and strong coaching/teaching abilities.
• Ability to develop officers through classroom, simulator, and practical sessions.
• Experience working in multicultural teams and conveying information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nautical training programs, workshops and simulator exercises.
• Conduct classroom, simulator-based and practical training activities.
• Coach and assess participants with feedback and debriefings.
• Contribute to course review and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with maritime regulations and Carnival procedures.
