Job summary

CSMART is seeking an experienced maritime professional to join our Nautical Department as an Instructor for Advanced Maritime Nautical Training. The role focuses on delivering classroom, simulator-based and practical training to shipboard officers across Carnival Corporation lines.

You will support the Officer Career Pathway programs and broader training portfolio, helping officers acquire technical knowledge, operational competence, and professional behaviours for safe and effective shipboard

Qualifications

• Significant operational nautical officer experience in cruise/maritime environments.
• Experience as Captain/Master, Pilot, Senior Officer or similar is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of navigation, bridge operations, ship handling and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nautical training programs, workshops and simulator exercises.
• Conduct classroom, simulator-based and practical training activities.
• Coach, mentor and assess participant development.
• Provide objective feedback and debriefings on performance.
• Contribute to course review and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain instructional competence through ongoing professional development.
• Stay current with maritime regulations and Carnival procedures.
• Promote company values and safety culture across training activities.
• Support training delivery across classrooms, simulators and training rigs.
