Job summary

QuantWare BV in Delft seeks a skilled MES & Automation Engineer to design, implement and support MES and automation solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and factory systems.

You will lead MES engineering, SECS/GEM interfaces, and factory automation projects, coordinating with IT, Engineering and Production to ensure reliable, traceable manufacturing operations, and continuous improvement. The role requires 5+ years in MES/Automation with SECS/GEM and integration experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of MES, Automation, Manufacturing Systems, or related engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in SECS/GEM development and equipment integration.
• Proven delivery of MES or automation projects from design to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and support of MES and automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain SECS/GEM communication interfaces for semiconductor equipment.
• Integrate MES with manufacturing equipment, databases, ERP/SCADA/PLC systems and APIs.
• Manage technical deliverables, project timelines, risks, testing, deployment, and documentation.
