Job summary

Avular is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven. You will design mechanical systems, create 3D CAD models and drawings, and ensure manufacturability and testability.

You will mentor junior engineers, review designs, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust robotic solutions. The role requires a relevant technical Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of experience, and strong CAD skills (NX preferred, plus SolidWorks and/or CATIA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with CAD tools: NX, SolidWorks, CATIA.
• Knowledge of DfT and DfM principles; thermal management and structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems with drawings and renderings.
• Mentor less experienced engineers on moderate problems.
• Review designs for dependencies and potential issues.
• Create technical proposals and present options to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and maintain design documentation.
