MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast‑growing high‑tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large‑scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. Context

As a Mechanical Designer, you will work within a multidisciplinary project team, collaborating closely with the Project Manager and Lead Designer. You will contribute to the development of mechatronic systems from early concepts through prototypes and small‑series builds.

Your Responsibilities

• Interpreting customer needs, organising them clearly, and converting them into feasible engineering solutions.
• Preparing and refining design or development proposals in line with customer requirements.
• Supporting concept creation using hand calculations or basic analytical evaluations.
• Producing clear reports and presentations that explain design choices and development results.
• Developing concepts into detailed 3D CAD models and converting these into complete drawing packages.
• Working effectively with colleagues across different project phases, adjusting your contribution based on the stage of development.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s (WO) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Current knowledge of mechanical engineering technologies and methods.
• Strong understanding of mechanical structures and the ability to design them effectively.
• Ability to translate theoretical principles into practical, manufacturable solutions.
• Awareness of customer expectations and system requirements.
• Basic familiarity with the stages of a product development or design process.
• Skilled in 3D CAD software.
• Solid understanding of construction principles, stiffness, and dynamics.
