Job summary

AWL in the Netherlands is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop intralogistics solutions from concept to working machine, supporting both existing and new concepts.

You will contribute ideas, test solutions and ensure design integrity while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and customers worldwide. Opportunities for progression exist within the Intralogistics unit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer preferred.
• 2nd: knowledge of industrial automation is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with 3D CAD and PDM systems.
• Flexible, pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing mechanical concepts and machines.
• Performing and coordinating concept testing.
• Preparing purchasing specifications.
• Collaborating with customers, suppliers and fellow engineers.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of standards and designs.
