Job summary

Enter Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an industrial project in the Eindhoven region. You will oversee the complete piping and mechanical system design from concept through commissioning, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to turn requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions.

We value hands-on leadership, independent work, and the ability to guide technical decisions with practical, robust designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in machine building, industrial engineering or process industry.
• Experience with piping design for high temperatures (up to 900 °C) and high pressures.
• Strong background in mechanical design and system integration.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to act as a senior technical advisor.

Piping at 900 °C. High pressures. Fusion technology and salt-based processes. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, read on. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will join an industrial project through ENTER as the mechanical specialist the team needs!

What will you do?

Our client is developing industrial machinery and systems for material-related processes. You join the multidisciplinary project team as the senior mechanical expert and turn requirements into robust, workable designs. Your expertise is new to the team, so your input directly shapes the technical choices, from the first concept through to commissioning.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating mechanical concepts and technical solutions for industrial applications.
• Designing piping systems that operate at temperatures up to 900 °C and high pressures.
• Contributing to feasibility studies, the design phase and implementation.
• Solving complex engineering problems using your knowledge of materials and process technology.
• Identifying technical risks early and helping to resolve them.
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.
• Supporting testing, validation and commissioning.

What do we expect from you?

You are an experienced engineer with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset. You oversee the complete system, work independently and are comfortable advising others on technical choices.

Must-haves:
