Job description

Are you interested in structural mechanics and eager to apply FEM analyses to complex high-tech systems? Do you enjoy translating simulation results into practical design improvements? As a FEM Analyst, you will contribute to the development and optimization of highly accurate mechanical systems used within the semiconductor industry.

What will you do?
You will use Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations and other analytical methods to understand and predict the mechanical and thermal behavior of complex systems. Your analyses provide important input for engineering decisions and help optimize system performance, reliability and stability.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing structural and thermomechanical analyses in close cooperation with mechanical engineers.
  • Using FEM and other analytical tools and methods to evaluate complex high-tech systems.
  • Identifying the relationship between mechanical and thermal design choices and overall system performance.
  • Translating simulation results into clear and well-founded design recommendations.
  • Taking a proactive role throughout the design and engineering process.
  • Presenting analysis results and explaining technical conclusions to engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the further development of knowledge, methodologies and simulation tools for structural and thermal analyses.

What do we expect from you?
You have a strong interest in structural mechanics and enjoy using engineering analysis to understand and improve complex mechanical systems. You are analytical, curious and able to communicate your findings clearly to others.

In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
  • A strong interest in structural mechanics.
  • Some experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA/FEM), gained through coursework, an internship, graduation project or professional experience.
  • Experience with FEM software; experience with ANSYS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and preferably thermomechanical behavior.
  • Good command of the English language; proficiency in Dutch is considered a plus.
  • The ability to clearly present and explain technical analyses and results.
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Working as a Structural Mechanics FEM Analyst through ENTER
Through ENTER, you will work for a leading high-tech organization specializing in the development and optimization of high-precision mechanical systems. These systems are used in demanding environments where stability, reliability and accuracy are essential.

Within this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced machine support structures designed to minimize vibrations and provide an extremely stable foundation for high-precision equipment. This stability is essential for achieving the nanometer-level accuracy required within semiconductor manufacturing.

As a Structural Mechanics FEM Analyst, you will play an important role in the design and development process. Working closely with mechanical engineers and other technical specialists, you will analyze structural and thermal performance and translate your findings into clear and well-founded design recommendations.

As an ENTER colleague you can of course expect a lot from us as well

  • A driven team and an inspiring working environment where our motto #techwithaheartbeat is at the heart of our company!
  • Driven and enthusiastic colleagues;
  • Lots of room for growth and development;
  • A gross monthly salary between € 3600,- and € 4100,- based on your background and experience;
