ENTER is seeking a Control Systems Integrator to design and integrate control systems for high-tech environments, including semiconductors, robotics, and laser-based modules.

You will collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and mechatronics teams to take systems from prototype to end product, ensuring reliable operation and reproducibility through testing and validation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering or Mechatronics with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in real-time controller integration, machine calibration, controller tuning and designing.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, TwinCAT, Python, LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement controllers, including SW and FW interfaces for PLCs (e.g., Beckhoff TwinCAT).
  • Integrate, configure and troubleshoot real-time controllers.
  • Calibrate machines and tune controllers for optimal performance and stability.
  • Analyze system behavior and identify improvements from test results.
  • Build tools for simulation, data analysis, diagnostics and visualization.
  • Develop and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation setups.

The role

As a Control Systems Integrator, you will be responsible for the detailed design and integration of control systems within high‑tech environments. You will work on applications in the semiconductor industry, (autonomous) robotics, positioning stages and laser-based communication modules, collaborating with system architects, software engineers and mechatronics teams to take systems from prototype to end product.

Key responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing controllers, including SW and FW interfaces, both in custom‑made and off‑the‑shelf control platforms (e.g. PLC software in Beckhoff TwinCAT).
  • Integrating, configuring and troubleshooting real‑time controllers.
  • Performing machine calibrations and controller tuning to achieve optimal performance and stability.
  • Analyzing system behavior and identify improvements based on test results.
  • Building tools for simulation, data analysis, diagnostics, and visualization
  • Developing and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation setups
Are you someone with
  • a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering or Mechatronics, supplemented by at least 5 years’ relevant work experience.
  • proven experience in real‑time controller integration, machine calibration, controller tuning and designing.
  • proficiency in one or more of the following: MATLAB/Simulink, TwinCAT, Python, LabVIEW.
  • experience in testing and validation and know how to ensure complex systems operate reliably and reproducibly.
  • experience in high‑tech fields such as semiconductors, robotics, positioning stages or laser‑based communication modules.
  • a practical, solution‑oriented mindset and can quickly get to the bottom of technical challenges.
