Amaris Consulting is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Development Engineer (Consultant) to join our engineering team. You will translate complex system concepts into robust mechanical designs and help realize high-performance, production-ready solutions across mechatronic domains.

With 5+ years in mechanical product development, you’ll collaborate with electronics, software, and manufacturing experts, contribute to DFMEA and design for quality, and maintain documentation in PLM systems such as

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical product development experience in high-tech, medical, industrial, or precision environments.
• Proven ability to translate conceptual designs into detailed, production-ready mechanical solutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory design standards in regulated industries.

Mansioni

• Translate high-level system concepts into detailed mechanical designs for subsystems and components.
• Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation (BOMs, assembly instructions, service manuals) using CAD tools.
• Support the design, integration, and testing of mechatronic systems—balancing mechanical, thermal, dynamic, and control aspects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, software, and systems engineering to ensure seamless integration.
• Maintain and enhance technical documentation in PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, cPLM).
• Interface with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to align on design requirements and technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant design controls and regulatory expectations (IEC 60601, ISO 13485, FDA) where applicable.
