Job summary

SCIL Nanoimprint Solutions, based at Eindhoven’s High Tech Campus, seeks a Senior Mechanical Designer to own the hardware development of next‑generation systems. You will drive end-to-end design, from concept through testing, in a fast-moving startup environment.

You will collaborate with the System Architect, Project Manager and multidisciplinary team to translate ambitious concepts into robust, manufacturable solutions, while guiding junior colleagues and bridging disciplines such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics or related field; 7+–10+ years experience.
• Strong understanding of tolerances, GD&T, material selection, and precision design.
• Experience designing complex mechanical systems for high-tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Own design, realization and testing of mechanical parts, modules and system components.
• Lead design reviews with System Architect/CTO/COO and colleagues.
• Collaborate across electronics, software and manufacturing for system-level integration.
• Mentor junior colleagues and external partners as needed.
• Identify and manage technical risks and quality throughout projects.
