Delve Search, in partnership with a high-tech equipment manufacturer in Eindhoven, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to own and advance complex mechanical systems. The role combines hands-on design, technical ownership, and collaboration across engineering disciplines to drive product development and manufacturing readiness.

The ideal candidate has a track record in precision machinery, GD&T, and DFM/DFM practices, with extensive NX/Teamcenter experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, realize, test complex mechanical systems, assemblies and precision modules.
• Develop new product platforms and improve existing equipment.
• Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T and precision engineering studies.
• Apply DFM, DFA and FMEA throughout the development process.
• Lead and participate in design reviews and technical decision-making.
• Support system qualification, industrialisation, ramp-up and manufacturing readiness.
• Investigate technical issues using structured root-cause methodologies.
• Work closely with systems, software, applications, manufacturing and other engineering disciplines.
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Provide technical support to customers and suppliers when required.
• Occasional international travel to customer and manufacturing sites.
