Job summary

Lace Lithography is seeking a Principal / Architect / Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical architecture and design for advanced lithography systems in Eindhoven, NL. The role involves translating performance targets into sub-systems and collaborating with physicists, chemists and engineers across locations.

You will guide OEM partners, coach the mechanical team, and contribute to roadmaps while travel between Eindhoven, Bergen and Barcelona is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in precision Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in developing complex, precision mechanical systems from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
• Expert knowledge in Requirements Engineering, System Engineering and product development processes.
• Hands-on as well as conceptual thinking with a system-level perspective.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain and defend complex engineering decisions.
• Proficient with CAD software and capable of performing and evaluating FEA/CFD simulations and benchmarking data.

Responsibilities

• Translating system performance specifications to mechanical sub-systems requirements.
• Definition and ownership of mechanical system architecture, design concepts and budget to meet targets.
• Guiding OEM supplier and partner teams during system definition and design.
• Guiding the growth and coaching mechanical engineering team with proper documentation and best practices.
• Contributing to technology and product roadmaps, identifying risks and mitigations.
• Collaborating closely with other disciplines, system engineers and program management.
