Job summary
Lace Lithography seeks a Principal / Architect / Senior Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical architecture and design for high-tech lithography systems in Eindhoven. You will work with physicists, chemists, and engineers across disciplines to deliver complex systems from concept to delivery.
The role requires 10-15+ years of experience, a degree in precision Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering, and strong skills in CAD, FEA/CFD.
Qualifications
- University degree in precision Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- 10-15+ years experience developing complex and precision mechanical systems in a high-tech environment
- Expert knowledge in Requirements Engineering, System Engineering and Product development process
- Hands on as well as conceptual thinking, ability to deep dive and zoom out to system level
- Stakeholder management, ability to explain, trade-off and defend complex engineering decisions
- Fluent with CAD software, ability to perform, guide and evaluate FEA / CFD simulations and benchmarking data, tolerance analysis
Responsibilities
- Translating system performance specifications to mechanical sub-systems requirements
- Definition and ownership of mechanical system architecture, design concepts and budget breakdowns to ensure system performance targets are met
- Selecting and guiding OEM supplier and partner teams during system definition and design
- Guiding the growth and coaching mechanical engineering team of the size and skill level matching product and company development
- Contributing to technology and product roadmaps, identify risks and mitigations strategies
- Closely collaborate with other disciplines, teams, system engineers and program management
