Bennetboss seeks a Senior Material and Corrosion Engineer for a long-term EPC project in the Netherlands, Rotterdam, with a balanced hybrid model. You will lead design and optimization of piping materials and corrosion strategies, ensuring compliance with international codes and top safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree / Engineer Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering).
• 5 to 10 years of experience within the Oil & Gas / Energy industry.
• Extensive experience working with international EPC companies.

Responsibilities

• Design & Optimisation: select methods and procedures, execute engineering tasks, and optimise designs within specification boundaries.
• Project & Scope Management: plan and deliver technical deliverables within the agreed timeframe and budget.
• Vendor & Interface Coordination: align with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties under contractual requirements.
• Package Engineering: act as Package Engineer with full technical responsibility for design, procurement, and manufacturing of assigned packages.
• Leadership: lead engineers on assigned scopes and potentially become Discipline Lead.
• Continuous Improvement: apply lessons learned and understand impact of technical changes across system boundaries.
