Job summary

M. Restart seeks a Senior Material and Corrosion Engineer for a leading client in the floating production sector in Rotterdam. You will design and engineer corrosion- and material-related solutions to meet safety, reliability and sustainability goals across lifecycle stages.

Requirements include a Diploma in engineering, 5–10 years in Oil & Gas with EPC exposure and European work experience. Offshore project exposure is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Extensive EPC company experience is required.
• Work experience in Europe is required.

Responsibilities

• Select methods and procedures and optimize design per specifications and standards.
• Plan and deliver activities within time and budget and ensure interfaces.
• Ensure Scope of Work meets contractual and internal requirements.
• Apply lessons learned and manage change across project boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties per requirements.
• May be assigned as Package Engineer for design, procurement and manufacture of the Package.
• Lead engineers on assigned scope of work.
• Act as Discipline Lead for an assigned scope of work.

Purpose

The Senior Engineer's purpose is to design and engineer solutions that achieve high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, thereby contributing to the projects and organization's strategic objectives and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
• You are responsible for proactively planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame and budget, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
• You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and internal requirements.
• You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and internal requirements.
• You may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package.
• You start leading engineers on assigned scope of work
• You may act as Discipline Lead for an assigned scope of work.
