Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Marine Systems Engineer for a 12-month renewable contract based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The role requires delivering complex marine systems engineering for oil & gas EPC projects, with substantial shipboard experience and strong P&ID/PFD skills.

The candidate will work on hydrodynamic calculations, energy transportation concepts, and disciplined interface management, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable and cost-efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline is required.
10-15 years of Oil & Gas experience required.
Experience with marine systems and EPC projects is required.

Responsibilities

Select methods and optimise design within discipline scope.
Deliver engineering work compliant with international codes and company standards.
Plan and complete discipline activities within timeframes and budgets.
Define and manage discipline resource requirements for the project.
Ensure work aligns with contractual and internal project requirements.
Capture lessons learned and assess change impacts across systems.
Manage interfaces with third parties, subcontractors, vendors and regulatory bodies.
Provide principal-level technical contribution where required.
