Senior Manager, Revenue Operations (Europe)
Permanent | Full-Time | Reports to Head of Commercial Operations, Europe.
Location: Hybrid, based from one of our European locations (London, Amsterdam, Oslo, Helsinki, Brussels, Stockholm or Munich), combined with remote working | European remit.
Why this role exists
NEP is the business behind many of the world's biggest live Sports and Entertainment broadcasts. Across Europe we operate in more than a dozen countries, with production crews, mobile units, studios, remote and cloud capabilities, connectivity and software platforms serving broadcasters, streamers, rights holders and event owners.
Europe is building one commercial engine behind all of it. This role makes the numbers behind that engine work: targets, incentives, pricing and discount discipline, bid economics and forecasting. When it works well, sales teams trust their targets, get paid accurately and on time, get faster decisions on their bids, and can see clearly what is driving their performance.
It is a hands‑on role with real ownership, sitting at the centre of how Europe sets targets, rewards performance and prices its work.
What you will own
Targets and incentives
The annual target process with Commercial Finance: the bottom‑up view from business units and customers, the split across territories and sellers, and communicating targets clearly to the sales teams
Running the incentive scheme day to day: crediting who sold what, tracking attainment, and calculating bonuses, commission, SPIFs and multi‑year signing bonuses
The payout list to Finance and payroll, and a monthly targets‑to‑actuals reconciliation that runs without being rebuilt by hand
In‑year target changes and incentive queries, handled consistently, quickly and fairly
Checking with Finance that the scheme is driving the behaviour it was designed for, and recommending changes where it is not
Pricing, discounting and approvals
The rate card process across business units, kept current and version controlled
Discount tracking against the agreed guardrails, including the effective discount and concessions beyond equipment such as crew, third‑party hire and fees
Approval compliance: deals routed to the right approver quickly, and exceptions visible and explained, using DealHub approval workflows as they go live
Bids and deal economics
Bid economics on larger deals, comparing bid, plan and actual at quote, close and renewal
IA, RFP and tender support: pricing inputs, IA submissions and reusable tender content
Post‑bid win and loss reviews, so each bid learns from the last
Forecasting and performance insight
Forecast rigour: stage discipline, forecast categories and a review with sales leaders ahead of the weekly EU pipeline call
Commercial analysis and KPI reporting across win rate, conversion, pricing, margin, discount and attainment
Turning the numbers into clear recommendations that sales teams and leadership act on
Who you will work with
You will report to the Head of Commercial Operations, Europe, and work closely with the Sales Support Manager, who leads Salesforce, DealHub adoption, dashboards and the exec pack. Day to day you will work with Commercial Finance on targets, accruals and payouts, with HR on incentive eligibility, with Managing Directors and their sales teams across the UK&I, Netherlands, Nordics and Mid & South Europe, and with the Global Commercial Operations teams.
Local sales teams own their customer relationships and make pricing decisions within the agreed guardrails. Your job is to make sure they have the numbers, controls and support to make those decisions well.
What good looks like after twelve months
Targets are issued on time, built on a model sales leaders understand and accept
Incentives pay out accurately and on time, with few disputes and quick resolution of the ones that arise
Every material discount is visible, approved by the right person and reported
The forecast is more accurate, and the weekly pipeline call runs on numbers nobody needs to re‑check
Win and loss reviews have enhanced pricing and bid approach
What we are looking for
Experience in revenue operations, sales operations, commercial finance or incentive administration, in a business with complex or high‑value sales
Hands‑on experience of target setting and incentive or commission calculations, ideally across more than one country
Strong Excel and modelling skills, comfort working in Salesforce, and experience with Power BI or similar
A good grasp of pricing, discount and margin, and the confidence to challenge a number
Accuracy and control, with the judgement to keep processes simple for sales teams
Clear communication: able to explain a payout to a salesperson and a trend to leadership
Helpful but not required: DealHub or other CPQ tools, live production or broadcast experience, incentive plan design, and other European languages
