Job summary

Adyen in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer focused on identity and access management to secure our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. You will shape access models, enforce zero trust, and ensure auditable decisions across humans, systems, and AI agents.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Linux systems engineering in large-scale, high-availability production environments.
• Strong background in identity and access management with security principles like zero trust, least privilege, just-in-time and just-enough access.
• Hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes and with tooling such as Teleport, SPIFFE/SPIRE, HashiCorp Vault; knowledge of PKI, short-lived certificates and mTLS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and advance IAM infrastructure for humans, systems, and AI agents in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Define, refine, and enforce zero-trust access policies and models.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance on access reviews, audits, and hardening.
