Flexport in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of Flexport's corporate environment—endpoints, identity systems, internal networks, and the SaaS estate. This is a security engineering role requiring hands-on work, automation, and incident response.

You will drive zero-trust initiatives, develop detection and response capabilities, and mentor engineers while collaborating with IT, Engineering, and People teams.

Qualifikationen

• Typically 5–8 years in enterprise security or information security engineering.
• Strong endpoint security tooling knowledge.
• Practical SIEM experience.
• Experience leading security incident response.
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Network security in a cloud-first environment.
• IaC tooling for security (Terraform).
• Familiarity with SCIM and OIDC.

Aufgaben

• Own and mature endpoint security stack across macOS and Windows fleets.
• Secure critical SaaS apps through SSPM tooling.
• Drive identity posture: SSO, MFA, passkeys, SCIM lifecycle automation.
• Lead zero-trust journey with proper access controls.
• Build and tune SIEM detections; lead incident response.
• Run endpoint risk assessments and vendor security reviews.
• Embed security with IT/Engineering; develop runbooks and docs.
• Mentor engineers and consider AI tool implications for security.
