Job summary

Signify is hiring a Commercial Quote Engineer in Eindhoven to translate customer needs into complete lighting solutions and support the bid/quote/pricing process for compliant, competitive quotations.

You will work with the sales team to select proper technical solutions, gain product knowledge, and manage projects from pre-order to execution while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical or business orientation, or you already have some experience in a commercial and/or technical customer-service role.
• Willing to learn the bid/quote & pricing process.
• Dutch native speaker, with very good knowledge of English.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder's management skills.
• Eager to work within a commercial team.
• Pro-active problem-solving mindset to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Translate the need of customers into a complete lighting solution with the sales organization.
• Support the bid/quote/pricing process to provide high-quality quotation proposals ensuring they are compliant, competitive and meet growth targets.
• Support sales and our customers by choosing the proper technical solution for their project.
• Gain knowledge of Signify products, systems and services.
• Follow up lighting projects from pre-order until execution.
• Interact directly with B2B customers and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Drive projects to ensure continuous improvement towards customers.
