Job summary

Stora Enso is seeking a Legal Entity Controller to join our Record to Report team in the Netherlands. You will own statutory financial statements, tax declarations, and regulatory filings for local entities, ensuring compliance with local laws and group policies.

The role requires 4+ years in accounting/controllership, strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and fluency in Dutch and English. Hybrid work options and a broad international context support your professional growth within a sustainability-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (CPA/ACCA/CA or CIMA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing or financial controllership.
• Very good knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS standards relevant for legal entity level reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of statutory accounting, indirect and direct tax processes, and related compliance requirements.
• Experience working in multinational environment.
• Analytical ability with high attention to detail and quality.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without authority and explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
