Job summary

SolCo in Venlo, Netherlands, seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance planning, actuals, closing and reporting for the legal entity. You will act as the main contact for business partners and support budgeting, forecasting and reconciliations, ensuring accurate statutory financials.

The role requires MSc in Accounting/Financial Controlling (or CPA) and strong English, SAP experience, and a collaborative, proactive mindset within a hybrid working setup (Venlo/Maastricht office

Qualifications

• MSc – BSc level in Accounting/Financial Controlling and/or licensed CPA.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Deep knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes.
• Experience with SAP.
• Analytical approach using digital tooling.
• Team-player with stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for Finance Business Partner and budget holders for budgeting and forecasting.
• Responsible for balance sheet management and reconciliation for the entity.
• Ensuring group and statutory financials are accurate and complete.
• Ensuring services with Financial Shared Services are delivered to standard.
• Responsible for product costing, variance analyses, inventories, CAPEX and allocations in SAP.
• Provide accruals, provisions, corrections for Journal Entries to SSC.
• Provide evidence for Internal Control Framework and remediation follow-up.
