Jobbeschreibung

Lean (Master) Black Belt and at least 5 years of experience

Zeist and on-site at client locations

32-40

You have led “ Lean ” transformations, you are accustomed to sitting at the table with senior management, and you know what it takes to sustain improvements on the shop floor. As a Senior “ Lean ” Consultant at the Lean Management Institute, you help organizations with a wide range of improvement challenges, and you serve as the point of contact for clients from the initial analysis through to implementation.

What are you going to do?

You work with organizations in sectors such as manufacturing, food and agriculture, construction, software, automotive, and government. You lead initiatives that transform an organization as a whole, acting as a bridge between the executive suite and the front lines. Since clients’ needs vary, you always choose the “ Lean ” approach that best fits the situation.

  • You lead improvement initiatives and Lean transformations, from the initial analysis to their implementation within the organization.

  • You coach managers and teams—from the boardroom to the front lines—in \" Lean\" leadership and continuous improvement.

  • You serve as a sparring partner for executive and management teams on issues such as improving processes, setting up daily management using Obeya and daily stand-ups, implementing \" Lean \" in product development, and translating strategy into execution using Hoshin Kanri.

  • You stay in touch with your network, stay up to date on developments in their field, and turn client inquiries into substantive and commercial proposals.

  • You will mentor mid-level colleagues in their development as consultants.

  • You’ll lead training sessions and masterclasses, train clients’ internal Lean coordinators, and help develop our approach and our (online) teaching materials.

What do you bring to the table?

  • At least 5 years of practical experience with “ Lean ” improvement initiatives and transformations, preferably across multiple sectors. A “ Lean ”Black Belt at Lean Master Black Belt is a plus.

  • Several years of experience in the consulting or training field, and preferably also in a leadership role.

  • Proven commercial experience and a network that you utilize and expand.

  • A higher vocational education (HBO+) level of thinking and work.

  • A strong personality: You’re not afraid to challenge management, and you lead your team through change on the front lines.

  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently; German and other languages are a plus.

What the LMI Offers You

  • An excellent, competitive salary (€4,500–€8,500 gross per month), depending on your experience, and comprehensive benefits, such as 25 vacation days, a company car, a company laptop, a company phone, a bonus plan, vacation pay, a Christmas gift basket, fun team outings, and more.

  • You’ll grow by gaining experience in various (large) organizations through different assignments. In addition, you’ll continue to learn by taking training courses and gaining knowledge from colleagues in the Lean Global Network.

  • An opportunity to help develop our approach and our (online) teaching materials, and to put your business skills to work.

  • Responsibility for your own assignments, with the freedom to choose your own approach.

  • Highly qualified colleagues: All your coworkers have a Black Belt or Master Black Belt . Once every two weeks, you’ll meet with the team for project meetings, professional development, and team-building activities.

  • Opportunities for assignments abroad if you have international ambitions, working alongside colleagues from the Lean Global Network.

  • A workspace in a beautiful historic building in the wooded area around Zeist.

About the Lean Management Institute

The Lean Management Institute was founded in 2004 as part of the Lean Global Network, a worldwide network of Lean institutes. We advise and train organizations, develop teaching materials, organize events, and offer training programs ranging from Yellow Belt to Master Black Belt . Through the network, we collaborate with fellow institutes in other countries.

For us, if we do Lean, we want to do it in the best possible way. That is why we are the only company in the Netherlands that is closely linked to the founders of the Lean philosophy, Jim Womack and Dan Jones and the organization they founded: the Lean Global Network. They did extensive research and developed the Lean methodology, and published many books on the subject.

Our team consists of 12 driven and ambitious people.
