Job summary

agap2 Netherlands is seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer to join its international team with a local Dutch focus. You will contribute to backend services and scalable microservices across industries like Banking, Fintech, and Logistics, while shipping reliable software in a DevOps environment.

You’ll collaborate with product owners and architects, own parts of the codebase, and participate in continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Hybrid work and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Kotlin (4+ years) and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps in Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Kotlin and Java.
• Design application and data architecture solutions.
• Build scalable APIs and microservices.
• Work with Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud tooling.
• Ensure code quality and production reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and architects.
• Take ownership of deployments and production support.
• Drive best practices within the team.
