Job Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer

Gazelle Global, a Dutch recruitment agency based in Hilversum, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with banking sector experience for a project with a leading bank in Heerlen.

Details:

• Hours: 32-40 hours/week
• Duration: 2-3 years

The project:

Contribute to the development of pension-related processes, working closely with analysts, architects, and testers to build solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Developing back-end APIs using an internal Spring-Boot framework on container infrastructure, understanding regulatory release processes, and actively seeking to automate and improve these processes.

Required skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 5 years of Java experience
• In-depth knowledge of BPMN and preferably Camunda
• Knowledge of Spring Boot 3
• Basic knowledge of Docker, testing tools (Cucumber, REST, SOAP), and resilience in facing setbacks
• Self-reliance
