Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to support the development and modernisation of a large‑scale application platform hosting over 40 business‑critical applications. Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands; 2 days onsite, 3 remote; ASAP start through 31 December 2027; freelance (BV or ZZP) daily rate.

Responsibilities include developing Java and Angular apps, migrating legacy systems, building backend services with Java, Spring Boot and SQL, crafting Angular frontends,

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot in enterprise environments.
• Strong Angular expertise with version 14+ and RXJS/NgRX.
• Solid SQL skills and experience in data modelling and optimisation.

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands (2 days per week onsite, 3 remote)

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to support the development and modernisation of a large-scale application platform hosting over 40 business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Java and Angular applications.
• Contribute to the migration of legacy systems into modern Java/Angular solutions.
• Design, build, and optimise backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
• Develop responsive frontend applications with Angular, RxJS, and NgRX.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Maintain high code quality through testing, automation, and peer reviews.
• Support multiple applications within a complex platform environment.
