We are looking for a talented senior JAVA Software Engineer for our office in Hengelo.

Job Overview

As a senior software engineer you will work with the other engineers on your agile team and the other agile teams in the same sub-domain. You will collaborate with software and system architects, take into account security and safety aspects, and contribute to requirement analysis, architecture, design, testing, validation, and product demonstrations. The software of our system is based on Java and C++ and is supported by a modern development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality Java code using Java, Linux, IntelliJ, JUnit, Cucumber.
• Perform unit testing (JUnit), test automation, and use Cucumber for behavior-driven development.
• Participate in continuous integration & delivery pipelines with Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GIT, BitBucket.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of the system, including security and safety aspects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary, self-organizing Scrum teams.

Qualifications
