Persistent Systems in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a hands-on Senior Java Full Stack Developer. You will design, build and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks, with REST APIs and microservices at the core.

You will actively use GenAI tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring secure, testable code and clear communication with stakeholders. This role supports hybrid work with flexible hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on senior Java full-stack developer with Spring Boot, microservices, REST API and frontend skills.
• Experience using GenAI development tools to improve coding, testing, refactoring and documentation.
• Design, build and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop scalable REST APIs, microservices and reusable backend components with responsive UI.

What You'll Do:

• Hands-on Senior Java Full stack Developer with strong Spring Boot, microservices, REST API and frontend skills.

• Database skills: SQL, relational databases, JPA / Hibernate and basic performance tuning.
• Git, branching, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD and Agile delivery practices.
• Hands‑on fullstack engineer with backend depth in Java and Spring Boot.
• Owns features end-to-end from design to deployment support.
• Uses GenAI tools productively, responsibly and with strong engineering judgment.
