Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in North Holland, Netherlands, seeks a Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications powering our cloud-native platform. Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+ with OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture design.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms and problem solving.
• Experience designing REST APIs with proper error handling and validation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.

• Proficiency with Git and version control practices.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs that serve high-volume traffic
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and best practices
• Design and optimize database solutions using NoSQL technologies, particularly DynamoDB
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code while adhering to coding standards and architectural best practices
• Participate in code reviews, identify bugs, and provide constructive feedback to team members
