Job summary

Salt is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Online Agent team in Amsterdam for a 3–6 month contract, starting ASAP. You will work across backend and frontend technologies, delivering high-quality software used at scale.

As a Software Engineer, you will own technical delivery from concept to production, collaborating with product managers, QA, and fellow developers. You will work across the stack using Java and React, focusing on quality, scalability, and customer value.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience in Java (Spring Boot or similar).

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience developing backend services in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks)
• Strong experience building modern web applications using React.
• Proven full-stack development experience with the ability to deliver features across frontend and backend layers.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and testing practices.
• Experience with Git, code review workflows, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to estimate work, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience working within large-scale or enterprise environments.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
