Job summary

We are a leading software engineering consultancy in the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam, seeking a senior Java/Spring engineer to tackle demanding client projects in Amsterdam and international environments.

You will build backend, API, cloud-native and fullstack solutions, and weave GenAI capabilities such as Spring AI and LLMs into development workflows, working with senior peers in a high-autonomy team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience with Java, Spring Boot, APIs, microservices, testing and clean architecture.
• Strong frontend/fullstack skills with React, Angular, TypeScript or comparable technologies.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud, DevOps, GenAI, Spring AI and AI-accelerated software development.

Responsibilities

• Build modern Java/Spring applications for client projects in Amsterdam and international environments.
• Design and deliver scalable backend, API, cloud-native and fullstack solutions.
• Integrate GenAI capabilities such as Spring AI, LLMs, RAG and AI-assisted development workflows.
