Job summary

ViCentra is seeking a Software Engineer, iOS (Swift) in Utrecht to grow our in-house mobile team. You will help advance the Kaleido App from an external partner to full ownership, driving maintenance, enhancements, and future features for a compliant, user-centric experience.

You will define coding standards, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure patient safety, product quality, and scalable technology globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Experience across software architecture, design, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Fluency in English and strong written communication.
• Experience with testing for regulated software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in software/computer engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain iOS applications (Swift) used with ViCentra medical devices.
• Lead projects across the full software development lifecycle.
• Set technical direction and coding standards for the iOS codebase.
• Mentor engineers and drive knowledge sharing within the mobile team.
• Support verification, validation, and release activities with quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and device standards.
• Collaborate with usability, testing, systems, cloud, quality, and regulatory teams.
• Contribute to a best-in-class mobile development environment in a regulated context.
• Stay current with iOS trends and raise the technical bar.
