Job summary

Okta is seeking a Solutions Engineer to guide customers through the sales lifecycle, delivering compelling product demonstrations and security-focused curricula. You will translate complex concepts for audiences ranging from developers to C-level executives, emphasizing identity protection with Okta’s Identity Platform.

The role demands hands-on collaboration with cross-functional teams, travel for customer engagements, and a passion for delivering value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer or PreSales Consultant.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly, even on whiteboard.
• Familiarity with OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP and identity governance.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor across all stages of the sales lifecycle.
• Build sales presentations and product demonstrations for diverse audiences.
• Educate customers from developers to C-level executives on securing identity.
• Advise customers on capabilities of Okta’s Identity Platform.
