Job summary

WLG in The Hague seeks a senior technician for an on-site service team. You will own ICT end systems, the servers behind them and the network paths between them, and respond immediately when a ticket cannot wait.

You will install, configure and retire systems, monitor operations, maintain network components, and provide second-line resolution on a rota that covers hours outside the office day. The role includes on-site engineering changes and a strong ownership mindset.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining ICT end systems in large, security-conscious organisations.
Server/storage hosting and redundancy management.
Network fault-finding, TCP/IP and VPN.
Log analysis and packet capture as a habit.
Scripting in Python or shell; automation mindset.
ITIL training and professional English.
Willingness for on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and retire systems and software, keeping records of locations and statuses.
Monitor operational systems for resource use, failures, and apply tested updates.
Maintain and configure network components; diagnose faults with proper methods and tools.
Provide second-line resolution on a rota outside office hours.
Support engineering changes to the service on-site, including testing and rollout.
